Opportunity: Autel Robotics was (recently dissolved) a drone manufacturer based in Seattle, Washington. Their website was currently pointing customers to Amazon in order to make an online purchase of one of their drones. Obviously, this was an issue.
Process: Worked with a team of 4 designers to research drone users and what they needed when interacting with a drone website and e-commerce. We compiled that data via affinity mapping and persona development, which lead us a key feature set to design for. We leveraged usertesting.com for user feedback and after many iterations development a strong, data inforced design.
